About This Place

Shuvolong Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in the Barkal Upazila of Rangamati district. It is accessible only by boat through Kaptai Lake. The journey to the waterfall takes visitors through the Shuvolong Channel, a narrow passage between high hills, which is a breathtaking experience in itself. During the rainy season, the waterfall is in full flow, cascading down from a great height. A local market nearby offers indigenous products and handicrafts.
